What is the Mambo Mano/Flix CD for?
Manuals - It includes a comprehensive manual and a Quick Start Guide.
Applications - It includes applications that extend the functionality of your MP3 player. Depending on your model, you may be able to convert videos for your Mambo player or password protect a portion of the player's internal memory.
Drivers - It includes drivers if you need to use your player with Windows 98SE, ME or 2000. Do not install them if you are using Windows XP or Windows Vista.

You can download them here on the Kaser downloads page. It can also be found on the CD included with your Mambo player.
How can I download the MP3 song into the player?
After connecting your MP3 player to your computer with the USB cable, the MP3 player will automatically
show up as a Removable Disk icon. Copy your music files by dragging them to the Removable Disk icon as
you normally copy any files.

When should I install the driver and application?
Drivers - If you are using Windows 98SE, ME or 2000, you should install drivers prior to connecting your MP3
player to your computer. If you are using Windows XP, your computer automatically detects your
player and installs the necessary drivers.
Applications - You do not need to install the applications on your Drivers CD to use your MP3 player.
These applications can be used for added functions like updating firmware, telephone books, or partitioning
the Flash disk for use as a storage device (specific features depend on model).
What can I do when the Mambo player is not recognized by the system?
Confirm the USB cable is plugged in to the computer and the drive and restart your computer.
Check Device Manager to confirm the USB hard drive is detected and configured properly - if not try connect the drive to another USB port.
To open device manager (Window XP / Windows 2000) right click on my computer > choose manage > choose the Device Manager icon.
Check Device Manager to to confirm the USB host controller is properly configured - If the host controller is in 'other devices'
then additional drivers are required for the host, contact the PCI card vendor or motherboard vendor for the appropriate drivers. Also, check your motherboard
instructions to make sure that the USB host controller is not disabled in the BIOS.

You can create your own AVI moves from your own DVDs using DVD conversion programs that are freely available via the Internet. You can then use the conversion program included on your Mano/Flix CD to convert these files into files compatible with your Mambo device. You may also purchase videos from online vendors.
